Senior Digital Designer

We are looking for a Senior Digital Designer who leads with ideas. This is a concept-driven role: your primary value is generating strong creative concepts that translate strategies and briefs into distinctive, platform-native campaigns — while execution, though expected at a high standard, is secondary to the thinking behind it. You will set the visual direction for our social and digital output, work closely with strategists and social media managers, and raise the creative bar across the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of creative concepts for social and digital campaigns — this is the core of the role; you own the idea, not just its execution.
• Translate strategy and briefs into original, platform-native creative territories and campaign ideas across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and web.
• Set and safeguard the visual direction, tone and creative quality across all deliverables.
• Present and articulate concepts confidently to internal teams and stakeholders, defending creative rationale with clear reasoning.
• Guide and mentor junior designers, reviewing work and elevating the overall creative output of the team.
• Collaborate with content, social and strategy teams from ideation through to performance-based iteration.
• Execute high-quality design work when needed — static, motion and short-form — while treating hands-on production as secondary to concept development.
• Stay ahead of platform trends, formats and cultural moments, bringing fresh thinking into the pipeline.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital/social design, with a clear track record of concept-led work.
• A portfolio that demonstrates original creative thinking and campaign concepts.
• Proven ability to turn briefs into distinctive creative directions.
• Deep understanding of social media formats, trends and platform-specific behavior.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other digital designers.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI design/ideation tools (e.g. Midjourney, Adobe Firefly) as part of the concept process.
• Art direction experience.
